Current responsibilities

Scott Panzer has been one of the leaders in developing an enhanced level of services to be provided to the real estate industry. Since becoming a service provider in 1992, he has completed over 37 million s.f. of assignments encompassing all facets of real estate. Mr. Panzer heads up the Strategic Occupancy Solutions practice which supports a variety of businesses across all spectrums.

On the Agency side, Mr. Panzer is the lead Agent on 9 W 57th Street, rated by the industry as the premier office building in all of North America.

Experience

Mr. Panzer provides his clients with significant knowledge from his former positions working for corporations developing business strategies and negotiating on mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy workouts, and real estate and bulk procurement agreements. He understands the inseverable connection between corporate strategy, operational needs of distinct business units and the efficient utilization of various forms of real estate.

Recent industry recognitions include JLL #1 Broker Worldwide (awarded in 2014, 2013 and 2011, and consistent yearly nominee since 2011), The Real Deal’s Top Tenant Rep Broker (2011), CoStar Power Broker Awardee every year since 2007, and Real Estate Forum’s #1 Leasing Broker (2008).

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle in 2009, Mr. Panzer spent 15 years at Newmark Knight Frank (NKF), where he initiated the pursuit of the Corporate Advisory Services platform and built the infrastructure required to support it.

Education and affiliations

Mr. Panzer holds an M.B.A. in Finance/Accounting and a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Miami. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House of New York, the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation, and the University of Miami Real Estate Advisory Board. He is a committed supporter of Creative Art Works and was their 2015 honoree. He is also an Adjunct Professor at St. John’s University, teaching Business Management and Strategy.
