Current responsibilities

Ms. Fuertes is a Vice President / Global Transactions Manager in the Jones Lang LaSalle Strategic Occupancy Solutions team led by Scott Panzer. Based out of JLL’s New York office, Ms. Fuertes is tasked with end-to-end transaction management and oversight of international transactions for portfolio companies forming part of clients such as KKR and The Carlyle Group. Ms. Fuertes is currently working with companies such as Ascensia Diabetes Care (Global), Canon (U.S.), First Data (Global), NEX Group (Global), Ortho Clinic Diagnostics (Global), PRA Health Sciences (Latin America), TP-ICAP (Global), Kaplan (U.S.), and The Interpublic Group of Companies (Latin America).

Previous experience

Ms. Fuertes was previously a dedicated resource within JLL’s Corporate Solutions business line for the HSBC Account as Latin America Estates Management Director and for Procter & Gamble as the Latin America Transactions Lead. During her time on the P&G Account from 2011 to 2014 (including an international transfer to JLL’s corporate offices in Buenos Aires for approx. 2 years), she supported their Latin America real estate business. Ms. Fuertes and her team were tasked with developing and executing real estate strategies and transactions that supported the Client’s core business, plans, and objectives as well as supporting and driving seamless integration and service delivery by interfacing and integrating with other JLL services (Facilities Management, Project Management, Occupancy Planning, Strategic Portfolio Management and Lease Administration) lines to deliver optimal results to the client. In this role, she was also responsible for service delivery, performance management, reporting, process improvement and client satisfaction within the Transaction Management service line. During her time on this account she also led and/or managed to completion approx. 4M+ square feet of transactions work (lease renewals, lease acquisitions, purchase acquisitions, lease dispositions, owned dispositions), plus additional land acquisitions of 17M+ square feet.

Prior to joining the P&G account, Ms. Fuertes served as Account Coordinator within the Strategic Occupancy Solutions (SOS) team at JLL based out of JLL’s New York office. She served Markets Corporate Solutions clients such as Ipsos, ADP, HealthNet, Prudential and The Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG). In this capacity she was responsible for actively managing all IPG Latin American & Canadian transactions, global detailed reporting, status reports, extensive sublease marketing updates, critical date reports, and market studies, mapping and financial analyses. Mrs. Fuertes also served as the SOS team international liaison, where she was tasked with systematizing the process of international client relations ensuring seamless communication and high-level service throughout the world. Ms. Fuertes tracked the progress of international assignments for each individual client and ensured that communication flowed smoothly between the SOS team, our International counterparts, and the teams’ clients.

Prior to joining JLL in 2009, Mr. Fuertes was in a similar role at Newmark Knight Grubb Ellis with the SOS team.

Education and affiliations

Ms. Fuertes studied computer engineering at Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York and graduated from The New School University with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in foreign languages. Ms. Fuertes speaks fluent Spanish, and has knowledge of Portuguese, French and Italian.
