Financial Services Firm Tullett Prebon has announced that they will be consolidating offices at 199 Water Street and 80 Pine Street to 125,000 SF at Brookfield Place in Downtown Manhattan. Tellett Prebon will be occupying the entire 5th and partial 6th in 2018. Strategic Occupancy Solutions/JLL’s own Scott Panzer and Shannon Rzeznikiewicz represented Tullett.
Since Brookfield Office Properties completed the redevelopment in 2014, which includes 200 Liberty Street, 225 Liberty Street, 200 Vesey Street, 250 Vesey Street, One North End Avenue and the Winder Garden Atrium they have attracted a number of high profile tenants including Time Inc., R/GA, BNY Mellon, Bank of America, Hudson’s Bay (Saks Fifth Avenue), The Associated Press, and Royal Bank of Canada.
Included in the redevelopment was an extreme focus on Tenant Amenities that includes an unrivaled food hall (Hudson Eats), shopping experience, as well as a number of fitness and cultural experiences that include a number events including free outdoor concerts located at the Waterfront Plaza. Coupled with the affordability of Downtown Manhattan Rental rates and direct access to Oculus and thus Fulton Center that provides transportation to 11 subway lines it’s no surprise that Brookfield Place has and continues to fill vacancies.
